What Is High Tea Singapore?

High Tea is also known as Afternoon Tea, is an English tradition that lets you enjoy different teas, finger sandwiches and scones. The most traditional High Tea would be held in the afternoon with tea and without any meal.

Many hotels will offer this in their restaurants with a special setting called "High Tea set" or "Afternoon Tea set". However, there are also dedicated tea houses that specifically serve High Tea.

What can I expect during a High Tea session?

High Tea is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and enjoy some delicious food. The service will usually last for about 2 hours, and during that time you can expect to try different types of tea, sandwiches and sweet and savoury treats such as scones and smoked salmon.

What is the difference between Afternoon Tea and High Tea?

The terms "Afternoon Tea" and "High Tea" are often used interchangeably, but there is a slight difference. Afternoon Tea is usually less expensive and includes tea and a few small sandwiches or pastries. High Tea, on the other hand, includes a wider variety of savoury and sweet dishes, as well as more tea. It is also usually served at a set time in the afternoon.
